.....it all depends....
if you want to bring stuff with you--like wine or gifts that you dont want smashed to pieces (or better yet, stolen)...then driving is the ONLY way to get them there. AND if you have more than one bag ....you have to pay LOADS to get it on the airplane!
do you want to leave at say 3 am? no flights---heck some of the places I went to (like to see my mom) have only 1 flight a day--at a time I would rather NOT travel (and that includes getting TO the airport)...hence driving.....

right now the only places I will fly to are overseas...and an 8+ hour flight just isnt anything I want to do anymore. (would LOVE to go back to japan, or visit my friend in finland....fiep wants to visit his old home vienna)....but between the trip to the airport. the 2-3 hours to get thru security, an extra hour for getting on the airplane, having to deal with people who just cant keep their germs to themselves, rude people, the idiotic security systems...THEN the flight---already talked about that...then trying to get OFF the plane, retrieving your luggage (hopefully still intact as well as THERE)....for another hour on the other end....so 6+ hours of extra craap just around your flight???? I will still drive to most of the usa first before I get on another airplane (and I used to travel A LOT).

nope just dont see it happening anytime soon (and the new security???? besides making you basically undress now you have to go thru more xrays...great).

Ya something like that. They have X-Ray machines that basically see through your clothes. Just stupid... It takes longer than the normal metal detector and is larger as well, thus it takes more time to move through the security during peak hours. Freaking annoying. Plus the damn things go down fairly often and then they have to recalibrate and thus you have to wait in line even more. Frackin' annoying. >.>

Two parties? I try to avoid parties. Not much of a party person.

yeah airport security is a real joke--you have to do BOTH now...first they send you to one line, then another!.
and someone please tell me exactly what they expect to find by xraying WATER??????????

Ya, not sure. I'm not sure if they are like X-Rays at doctor offices that see all the way to your bones or what. Might be to sniff out drug runners, you know, the people who shove drugs up the exit. But I'm not sure.

They are like the X-Rays at the doctor offices that much I know. And it's just for drug runners and to see if somebody is wearing a bomb/pointy objects under their clothing they might not be able to find.

On an unrelated note I have 28/50 HoM points bought myself a curse destroyers staff for my necromancer to pimp. That got me 2 extra points. And I forgot I had about 6 heroes to add to my partner bit and got 1 extra point through that.

If somebody were nice enough to donate money so I can get vabbian and obsidian armour i'd have 30/50 hehe (not like that is going to happen anytime soon though.)

Figured as much. I am just trying to get to 30/50 untill retiring completely and wait untill GW2 gets released.

1 oppresor and DoA weapon would also do the trick to get 30/50 too bad those are expensive as hell. D:

actually there are a few groups who do doa...you might be able to get into one of them and net your own weapon....
I would say there are other easier ways to get 30 than the armor route.

(and yes I still play---am working on chests and id'ing as well as finishing up v'q-ing)....

and yeah MOST doctors offices have xrays (mine dont--have to go to the hospital for that which is SUPPOSED to be covered by the insurance 'any tests not that should be run at docs office' that the doc doesnt have the ability to do---but alas I wouldnt up paying for most of those anyways

)

but you are only supposed to have a small amount of xray every year--and when you DO have them---ever notice they put large amounts of lead over your vital parts????? that is to keep them in working order--xrays are NOT good for you!! and they DONT cover anything at the airport so you get a FULL xray (if you go thru more than one airport you get more than you should have for a goodly amount of time----)

I haven't played in sooooooooo long. I log on every once in a while to make sure I haven't been hacked but that's it. Really should clear out my storage and give it to people who play...

Ya, too much X-Ray is a bad thing. I am unsure of how powerful the ones at the airport are, but if they see through to your bones then that is a healthy dose you are getting. Not good to be getting a lot of them though, especially bad for those frequent flyers.

I have constant headaches. I have a dislocated jaw that has to be operated on soonish so yeah headache all day every day ;O

Headaches are definitely annoying. I usually can stand them but sometimes they are just too painful. Not cool. Hope yours fully goes away soon cosy.

I have tmj (my jaw is also messed up mostly because of an inept orthodontist

)...and I get headaches that make me nauseous, feverish, and very very dizzy (those are the highlights)....I wish there were a doctor I could go to to get it fixed--but just like good ole humpty dumpty--it cant be put back together again

So I basically lost 50 ilbs worth of sweat today at work. Outside it feels like 112F, inside the school? Probably like 120+, especially in the bathrooms and the gym/kitchen. Which is where I got to work all day... >.>
